Since 1996, Tennent's Lager has been giving unsigned artists the opportunity to play a coveted slot at T in the Park. Back in February we sent out a call for entries offering the chance to play the 2010 T Break Stage. The calibre of entries was higher than ever, and we'd like to thank everyone who sent in a demo.
Between July 9-11, we saw the very best of this year’s entries take over the T Break Stage at T in the Park 2010 at what was undoubtedly the best T Break yet, and now you can listen again to the most exciting unsigned talent emerging in Scotland with your free exclusive download of a live track from each of the bands recorded at T in the Park 2010. There are 16 in all to download right here.
Tennent’s will be launching T Break 2011 early next year so you’ve plenty time to perfect your demo, and next year it could be you rocking the T Break crowds at T in the Park 2011.
Be Like Pablo
Be Like Pablo’s brand of catchy pop combines sunny vocal harmonies with a generous dose of Moog synthesizers. Think the Beach Boys with Scottish accents.
French Wives
Influenced by the 1980s output of Glasgow’s Postcard Records, French Wives’ indie pop sound blends acoustic guitars and soulful vocals, with a touch of violin.

With their folk-soaked, acoustic roots, Kitty the Lion mix buoyant upright bass rhythms with thoughtful lyricism. Intelligent, nimble pop in a soulful, charismatic package.
Kobi Onyame
Born in Ghana but Glasgow-based, Kobi Onyame’s spin on contemporary hip hop fuses a wealth of experiences, influences, and genre into a rich, inventive mix.
LightGuides
LightGuides’ melodic alt-rock sound has its foundations in a layer of solid guitar riffs and driving rhythms, topped off by impassioned lyrics and heartfelt vocals.
Make Sparks
Make Sparks take the alt-rock route, but travel with a car full of engaging, experimental melodies and innovative rhythms. Smart indie rock with heart.
Mitchell Museum
Characterising themselves as purveyors of “oddball pop songs”, Mitchell Museum riff on psychedelic guitar-led US indie, and concoct a sparky sound all their own.

MOPP. deals in driving, tuneful dance with slick vocals laid on top. A well, self-produced package on record, and a clean, collaborative performer playing live.
Night Noise Team
Drawing from an eclectic palette of guitar-led indie, pop, and disco, Night Noise Team’s sound is slick, retro, and designed to keep dancefloors full.
Stanley Odd
Edinburgh crew Stanley Odd write wry rhymes about “pipe dreams and housing schemes” and lay them against a background of smooth beats and slick vocals.
The Draymin
Equal parts indie pop, melodic dance, and stadium band, The Draymin’s polished sound is guitar-led, crowd-pleasing, and pulses with a relentless energy.
The Ray Summers
With their cheeky vocal harmonies and neo-60’s vibe, The Ray Summers are a six-piece with the stage presence of many more. Expertly executed upbeat pop.
The Seventeenth Century
The Seventeenth Century cite both Vivaldi and The Velvet Underground as influences, and this eclectic ear is evident in their innovative and intelligent folk sound.
Three Blind Wolves
Three Blind Wolves combine raw, bluesy vocals with indie undertones and add a little unexpected pace. Infectious, nouveau folk with a unique musical point-of-view.
