About T Break
T Break was launched by T in the Park founding partner Tennent’s Lager in 1996 and has been providing the freshest and most exciting unsigned talent in Scotland with a platform to showcase their music on the T Break Stage for 18 years.
Each year, 16 artists are hand-picked from over a thousand entries by a panel made up of music industry experts and given the chance to perform on the biggest and most prestigious platform for emerging talent at T in the Park.
Throughout its 18-year history the T Break Stage has hosted some legendary performances – it’s where Biffy Clyro made their T in the Park debut back in 2000, where Paolo Nutini showcased his alter ego collective Snake Derrick & The Vypers in 2008, and not forgetting Snow Patrol’s T in the Park debut:
